Among these, there are many interesting sites along Historic Route 66 as you are driving eastbound on Route 66 from I-35. The the first is the famous POPS in Arcadia, OK, which is a neat gas station and a place to get over 500 types of soda pop bottled in traditional glass containers; they also have a great restaurant with some very yummy food!! You can dine in or set out on the patio. This is a great place to caravan with others, whether you are on motorcycles or in cars or trucks.

The next neat stop on Historic Route 66 is the Arcadia Round Barn that is located in Arcadia, OK, which is an icon on the Mother Road. The barn is open for tours, and there is a nice museum inside explaining the history with many pictures taken over time.
On further East along Route 66 is the Boundary Cafe and they are know for their wonderful BBQ and ribs. This is also a good stopping place to relax inside out of the heat or to sit on the outside patio in cooler weather.

About 5 miles or so past our place, Red's Rockin RV Park, is the new Ioway Casino that is situated on the southside of the road.  Although it is a small casino, the folks running it are mighty friendly and the games are fun!! There is also plenty of food and drink available.

Down the road in Chandler, OK, there is a neat Route 66 Museum.

And, of course, there are numerous things to do in the nearby cities of Oklahoma City, Edmond, Tulsa. Even Dallas-Ft. Worth is just a day trip away.

While in nearby Oklahoma City, you might be interested in visiting the exciting Bricktown. There is plenty to do, including eating, drinking, attending concerts, sporting events (including the NBA Thunder Basketball Team).
