Red's Rockin' RV Park is located conveniently on Historic US Route 66. From I-44 (the Turner Turnpike, a toll road), it is accessible from the Wellston I-44 exit in either direction east or west, i.e., going to/from Oklahoma City or Tulsa. To get to the park from I-35 southbound or northbound, you will exit onto 2nd Street/Edmond Road (which becomes US Route 66) in Edmond, OK, and go East about 17 miles, and the park is just west/southwest of the city of Wellston, OK, on the Northeast corner of Captain Creek Road and Historic Route 66 itself.
Due to the closing of the original RV Park the
Entrances off of Highway 66 are CLOSED. All RV Park Traffic must enter on the West side of the Park off of RD 3310 or otherwise known as Captain Creek Rd. Please refer to the MAP and follow signs. There is NO Access to the New RV Park from Highway 66.
The drive from Edmond takes about 20 minutes. You could take I-44 (the Turner Turnpike ) from I-35; however, using the 2nd Street/Edmond Road exit on I-35 is more direct and also a scenic route for you to travel.
This was the Original Rv Park in 1980 with a Wigwam that you could stay in! HOW FUN!!!
**ENTRANCE IS OFF OF HIGHWAY 66 ON 3310 RD/CAPTAIN CREEK RD. LOCATED ON THE WEST END OF THE PARK**
